I'm finishing my bachelor's degree and spending more and more of my time on AI and machine learning. What interests me is not AI for the sake of AI. I like the point where the technology becomes genuinely useful, when it saves someone time, removes unnecessary work or makes a difficult task easier to handle.

I tend to enjoy problems that are a little unclear at the start. My first instinct is usually to work out what is actually going wrong before trying to fix it. From there, I like breaking things down, asking questions and finding the simplest way forward that still solves the right problem.

Outside of tech, I'm a top-2,500 GeoGuessr player, rated around 1750 in chess, and follow both football and American football closely. I apparently have a hard time doing anything casually.

At work, I care a lot about being useful to the people around me. I like teams where people can ask questions, disagree, joke around and still get good work done. I try to bring curiosity, humour and a calm approach, especially when things get complicated.

I'm currently looking for IT roles, particularly within AI and machine learning. Bergen is my first choice, but I'm open to opportunities elsewhere if the work is interesting and the team is a good fit.
